As Urukha’s second at her lifemating ceremony, it is custom that I provide a short speech. I have thought on this for some time now and am not any closer to deciding what to say.
Is the speech intended to be funny? Moving? Inspirational? Certainly I have knowledge of all of these with the huntress, and with Pip as well. For example, Pip and I wrote out our lessons in pudding the day she learned to read. But should I include Pip, or only speak of Urukha?
This task makes me anxious. I hope I will not disappoint.
