The retribution that the Lord predicted came, and was more devastating
than either he or I calculated. The Witch is dead. And she is not the only casualty. It gives me
great pain and grief – though not as much as him, I am sure – to think that both Victora and Kaelyn are lost. One of them almost certainly to death.
But my beloved’s cure was obtained and administered with success
and we prepare to depart this realm. I will be overjoyed to see our home again
and take a much-needed holiday.
